No matter what your age, a diagnosis of arthritis is a difficult change to come to terms with.
I want to encourage others who live with arthritis to do the single best thing in their lives – keep moving.
I’m Tim, 55, and have osteoarthritis.
On 26 and 27 August I take part in my toughest cycling challenge yet – the Le Mans Pearl Izumi 24H Velo. I’ll be joining 1000s of cyclists from over 20 countries to cycle the iconic Circuit de La Sarthe at Le Mans for 24 hours – my personal target will be to cycle 600km.
Your support means the world to me, both in the build up and on the big day itself.
Every donation goes a long way in helping Arthritis New Zealand improve the life of every person affected by arthritis.
Drop back in regularly to follow my updates, training progress and journey to France.
